Zoom WooCommerce Training Course

Zoom WooCommerce Training Course

In our intensive Zoom WooCommerce Training Course we delve deep into the world of e-commerce with a thorough examination and setup of a WooCommerce store in WordPress.

Whilst perhaps sounding initially quite daunting, it is surprisingly easy to get great results with this powerful WordPress plugin, and whats more, you can sell not only physical products, but virtual ones as well, even within the same store! WooCommerce is one of the world's most popular e-commerce solutions, and is capable of handling thousands of products (and product variations) within a single store, without breaking a sweat. It is also highly configurable, with a wide variety of WooCommerce and third-party plugins available to further extend the capabilities of the plugin. And we almost forgot to mention that, like WordPress, the Woocommerce plugin is entirely FREE!

Our comprehensive Zoom WooCommerce course takes you step-by-step through he process of setting up your own WooCommerce store as follows:

Our WooCommerce training course takes you directly into the heart of e-commerce, with a series of training modules designed to get you fully up-to-speed with this powerful WordPress plugin. Beginning with the best way to configure and install the WooCommerce plugin, we quickly move on to product pricing, categories, managing your inventory, stock levels and SKU's and the entering of product data and images, with a specific focus on how best to use variations and attributes with your products. In addition to creating individual products, we also examine the best way to import product data in bulk into WooCommerce, how to add SEO key phrases to your product titles and descriptions, and the benefits of employing product upsells and cross-sells to your stock inventory to increase sales.

We also discuss in detail the different types of products that can be sold via WooCommerce, from the physical to the virtual and downloadable, as well as the fundamental differences between Simple, Grouped, Variable and External/Affiliate products, and how these can be best represented in your online store.

We then move on to examining what is to many the perplexing subject of postage and shipping costs, and how best to get the most from this functionality in WooCommerce. Few WooCommerce store owners realise the power of Shipping Classes, and we demonstrate these as well.

In our Plugins course module, we take a look at some of the additional plugins that are available to further enhance and extend the functionality of WooCommerce, as well as a range of third-party plugins that allow for the social sharing of product information, wishlist's and customer reviews. We also take a look at the customer account pages, guest checkout options, and how to set up payment options with PayPal and other payment providers.

Our final module takes a close look at managing orders, and the various ways that customer orders can be market as processed and completed, as well as examining how we can best customise our customer email messages in order to portray the professionalism we are striving for, ensuring that our customers come back for more, time and again.
